The studio of Nicholas Johnston was founded by its namesake — an industrial designer with a fervent interest in the objects and utilities of everyday life.
With a finely tuned (and enviable) balance of left and right brained thinking, Nick and his team exist at the intersection of business, engineering and great design.
Inspired to create objects of connection, Nick seeks to understand human wants, needs and desires, and then translates these into products of great aesthetic, emotional and functional value.
Today, not only does the studio design and produce, it also orchestrates digital and physical experiences that build the identity of a product from ideation through to launch — informing a captivating customer journey.
From spacesuits, to forks, to brands such as Armani Casa, Miele, KROF and Rogerseller, Nick has developed products and furniture wares that are distributed and loved around the globe.
In an age where products are disposable and audiences fickle, Nicholas Johnston and his team maintain a vision to elevate the ordinary, to pique our curiosity, and craft products that stand the test of time.
